BIO
Born and raised in Palermo,Italy, NTNTN started his electronic sets in 2010 as one electronic performer in the city’s emerging alternative clubbing scene. Influenced by his research in experimental music and radical improvisation, a bachelor in musicology and fascinated by raw and organic electronic sounds. NTNTN combined these universes in the construction of his electronic and dj sets. Starting 2015 also in his music production for movies, theater shows and EPs.

Luminescence is a work, made in 2020. It is a result of a research realized rambling around the world and build with soundscapes layers. Luminescence sounds are resultant of soundscapes of Kyoto streets, various nights in Tokyo, Maghreb, a pluvial forest jungle of Bali, sounds of balinese paddy field, balinese rituals and self-made instruments.
Rituals and vocals frames, with other sounds from soundscape works contribute to create the textures on which run the rhythmic pulsations. Often, the rhythmic pulsation, are drawn by North African rythms. Even the voices of the sonic textures, have as reference to the sufi music of pakistan Qawwali.
